Writing Woes!

Ok. Alittle frustrated with my current pace in editing my latest book (Runaway Heat), and yes I know, I could be writing now, BUT I just have to clear the air and rant a bit, lol!!
Currently editing about 3 pages a day is where I'm at just to give you a bird's eye view and I seriously swear I saw a snail outside my window just now shake it's head in disgust at my shameful admission...sad, but true!
The struggle is real, as my daughter says...
And why you ask am I so slow lately? The weather is absolutely, freaking a-mazing that's why.
There is no ignoring the balmy 85 degree breeze I see swaying the trees in the backyard or the vivid red blossoms of the oleander bushes. Heck, even the comfy wicker patio set is winking at me! (I swear it!)
So why am I not out there?!
Because I've been too busy being busy. My frustration is really not with going so slow, its with going so fast and not seeing the beauty of all the things I've been blessed with.
Eureka!!!
I don't know about you, but that patio is now calling my name!!
